Pakistan’s Karakoram range is one of the most striking mountain landscapes on earth. Jagged peaks like K2, Broad Peak, and the Gasherbrums rise sharply from valleys carved by glaciers, creating a horizon of stone and ice that feels almost unreal.

In the lower valleys, villages cling to steep slopes, surrounded by fields of apricot and walnut trees. Rivers cut through deep gorges, fed by the constant melt of glaciers. The contrast between human life and the raw scale of the mountains is powerful—small settlements against some of the world’s highest peaks.

Photographing the Karakoram means capturing extremes: the sharp geometry of ice and rock, the shifting light across massive ridges, and the quiet resilience of life at high altitude.
