Texture photography is about looking closer than most people bother to. Cracks in stone, peeling paint, bark, rust, fabric — the details that usually get ignored. Up close, the small things become landscapes of their own.

It’s not about what the object is, but how it feels through the eyes: rough, smooth, sharp, soft. Texture shots work when they make you almost want to touch the photo.

In the end, it’s just training yourself to see patterns where others walk past. The ordinary surface becomes the subject.
